6/3*(2) 4/1*(2) would be my play too, although unlike you, I'm actually happier about playing it with the cube turned already

I don't want to spoil the rollout, but XGR++ says our play is fourth best and a .085 error. Put the cube on our side of the board and it rises to third best and a .051 error.

No one has mentioned the top play yet. This may be a good criteria for your "difficult play" - a position where there are a lot of options and most players fail to even consider the best play.
