Just my opinion but that sure seems to be the case. In positions where you have an anchor, you just build up your board/prime and wait for a shot or for an escaping double. Pretty hard to make a blunder in these kind of positions. The winning side, OTOH, has to make more difficult decisions: Leave a few fly shots (or more numbers that force the leader to leave a direct shot next time) while bearing in or not, bear off an extra checker but leave more blotting rolls next time or make the safer play but bear off one fewer checker, bear off extra checkers and leave some extra shots or bear off fewer but minimize shots. Do a trap play or not? If so, leave a checker on the point you just broke or not? If the losing side doesn't have an anchor, hit loose or not? Switch points or not?

I think cube actions are also clearly more difficult...1)Deciding whether or not to redouble when the trailers tp is really low, 2)Positions where the position might be TG and not good enough, 3)When the trailer doubles you with g chances, how much above the normal do you need to adjust your tp to account for the trailers (usually) higher gv and for your severely limited cube vig?
