Well, the natural way to make the bar point is from the taller stack, 8/7, unless we're going to essay 13/7 6/5. But I would play 8/7 8/2*. We have ten checkers in the zone and are behind in the race and the match so I like the plan of attacking White's straggler. It also functions as a tempo hit, taking away half of White's roll, which she would like to use to continue building her good structure. 13/7 8/7 looks too passive so the main remaining play is 24/18 8/7. That could be correct, trying to challenge White in the outfield without risking too many pips in the race, but I prefer 8/2*.
