IMHO, there are three categories of moves:
- Moves which break the anchor (@22)
- One move that makes a point: 8/2, 6/2
- Several moves which focus on the blot on the midpoint
The race is very even, and the PrimeFactors have 11 Checkers on their near side, and a 3pt-home with the golden point already made. Therefore, I want to avoid breaking the anchor.
8/2, 6/2 seems to be attractive, since it creates a 3pt-home as well. The downside of that point making move is that it neglects our blot on 13, and it completely strips our 4pt-prime. I want these spare checkers to help making our golden point soon.
I prefer focusing on the blot on 13. 13/3 looks slightly stiff and not flexible enough. And it plays the checker behind the opponentīs anchor generating a dilly builder.
Comparing 13/7, 6/2 and 13/9, 8/2, I cannot see which move is better or not. But the former looks more natural and I like playing 13/7 more than 13/9.My choice: 13/7, 6/2
