Coming out looks like suicide so that is rejected. We need to move our blot on the mid pt so I'll look at plays involving that. Of course we can play 13/3, but along the way we can stop at the 9 pt or 7 pt and play the rest of our roll inside. 13/7 6/2 strips the 6 pt which is often wrong in the middle game when many points are held. 13/7 8/2 looks to be a bit better and I also slightly prefer it to 13/3 since we often have to start breaking down or 4 prime and since we will be squeezed for plays often but closing new inside pts can be a consolation prize.
