Yes! Recognizing that the key decision is how to play the 6 is the insight I was missing.

Very nice retro sequence. Stripped to bare essentials, it is much cleaner than mine, although both are perfectly played. There is a good chance that Nack's is the sequence that actually occurred in the game.
