Attention TD's: More Variety Please

Ironically, the typical "unusual" side event is 2-point quickies. I hate 2-point matches. If I'm playing somebody as good or better than me, I just whip it out like I'm at a peep show. If I'm playing somebody weaker than me, properly dealing with the cube is annoying.

The most interesting side event I ever played was one in San Francisco, directed by Chiva... it was SassanGammon, which was just fascinating to play.

I'd like to see more hypergammon, with the cube. A 5-point hypergammon match can be played pretty quickly, certainly more quickly than a 2-point quickie that goes three games.
