Hitting is clear, then it's a question of whether to leave the blot on the four point or the ace point.

Slotting the four is nice, as is making a fourth point. I'd rather be hit on the ace than the four since our opponents may get stuck there, but we don't have much of a blockade, and a fourth point gives seven additional dancing numbers.

Playing 5/4*/2 gives the same number of shots as 5/4* 3/1, but the additional homeboard point plus the fact that we're creating a dilly builder makes me want to go for making the ace.
