First, I would like to say how sick that game you lost in the semifinals of the recent ABT event was! Brutal! Congratulations on your result, which could/should have been even better.

I take exception to the following comment;

'The pointing play results in an improved board, and more escaping opportunities.'

I disagree with the latter. The running play, right or wrong, has more escaping opportunity than the pointing play, IMHO.
