playing doublets is a big source of errors for me. There are several possibilities. Make an advanced anchor, make the 5 pt, make the 2 pt, gaining a 3rd internal point, in preparation for a blitz...make the 9pt for a little extra containment. But all seem to have their downsides....the advanced anchor is better than what we have, but is not as advanced as i would like to have. Making the 9pt abandons our back checkers. Making our 2pt stretches our board, and makes priming somewhat unlikely. Making the 5 pt. opens up the possibility for an easy escape. I've heard it said that owning the bar point without the 5 pt is a weak position....so here, i suspect the right play might be 24/22(2) 7/5 (2).

as an afterthought, 13/11 13/7 also looks attractive. It gives us flexibility, and a good position for a blitz. I'll go with that and hope it isn't a .100 blunder
