14/10*/5 is also my play, though I got it by first deciding that I wanted to slot 14/5 and then deciding that hitting was better than not hitting. Though it's not perfect, I still like my rule of thumb that hitting on my side of the board usually helps my timing while hitting on the opposite side of the board usually helps my opponent's timing.
