Perhaps someone can check with XG how much of a diff missing a checker does to the equity, depending on which one is missing.

The problem is that you can't tell XG, that gammons still count and you can't set up a starting position, where rolling doubles are not allowed. But if you set it up in DMP then 14 is indeed a favorite with only one man back even with 15 on roll. Missing a checker on the midpoint or sixpoint the game is about even with 14 on roll, but 14 is a significant underdog with 15 on roll, so overall a dog. Missing a checker on the eight point 14 is an underdog even on roll.
