Women World Champions

I keep reading conflicting reports about the number of prior women champions.

From what I've read Akiko is the 5th woman to win the World Championship if the Bahamas and Las Vegas World Championship events are taken into consideration.

Alice Topping 1969 (there's talk that it might not have actually happened!)

Carol Crawford 1973

Lee Genud 1981

Katie Scalamandre 2000
