Aha! the holy grail of the cube

Thank you, Bob, for the link, and thank you to Rick Janowski for his work in developing and publishing these concepts. Thanks also to Sebalotek for initiating this discussion.

Human curiousity leads many budding players to try to understand cube theory, and some will persue it in more depth than others. It certainly is fascinating to glimpse many of the concepts behind the cube. From a practical point of view, I'm not sure that I'll ever put in the study to develop a comprehensive understanding of the details of the Janowski paper, but I certainly can see why Kit Woolsey and so many others recommend the study of reference positions. Having seen the cube up close and personal, it seems like the right time to move on, and get serious about learning reference positions.
