Position from MC: 61 to play in holding game

I guess I'm not seeing clearly here. Not unusual. But other then 22, 44, and 55 how does Brown hit safely here? And if we play 8/7 8/2 we're just allowing him to build up his position to a point where we really can't break anchor at the same time stripping ourselves to the point where we may have no choice but to break anchor at the worst time. I viewed this as a sort of pay now pay later situation.
