I see that brown has a lot to do to make a prime. Make the 4 and 9 points, all without being hit and with one dead checker. It's more likely that white will try to come home safely. White can stay and wait for a hit or race if it works out that way. White has plenty of timing with the men on the midpoint. The time to break your anchor is when you have a perfect board and a hit will cost your opponent the game.
