Position from MC: 61 to play in holding game

Anchor breaking is often a pay-now-or-later question. However, for me, the primary judgment call here is whether to play this as a holding game. In a holding game, you're usually not worried about your opponent building up a good offensive position, because you're the one waiting for a shot and your opponent is the one who is trying to get by safely. Giving up the anchor is usually a mistake in a holding game even if there isn't much immediate risk of getting hit, because you'll face persistent problems in the subsequent play.
Here the race is close enough and Yellow's anchor is deep enough that Yellow could regard the position not as a holding game but as a pay-now-or-later problem. The argument would be that Yellow's shot vig is low enough that he should expect to have to break anchor to race sooner or later and just has to pick the best moment to do so. I didn't think that the race was close enough, but apparently the computer disagrees.
Note that the anchor break does lose more gammons and would presumably be a blunder at GS or a score close to GS.
I'm also curious about the subsequent play. After 22/16 8/7 is the cube action D/T? And after 8/7 8/2 or 8/2 6/5 is the cube action ND/T? If Black then fails to hit, and Yellow rolls something that can either run the checker on the 16pt or build the board (but not both), which is better?
