Backgammon club / meeting in LA and Las Vegas?

Hi all, a friend of mine will travel LA and Las Vegas in September.

He would like to visit backgammon club or meeting if time permits.

As long as I remember there is a backgammon club called AR club in Los Angels but I don't know if they still exist.

Please reply me any information you might have, or who should I contact to.
