So the skill of playing right at key times in the match is under-rated if you play to PR, but not so if the match is measured in equity terms.

Playing to match equity, the counter argument could be that a relatively small mistake at the wrong time of the match could cost you relatively large chunks of match equity, even though you played well in PR terms overall.

An interesting circular argument.
