Battle of the Giants Quiz/Lecture-and streaming

Victor proved his skill in a difficult test...10 positions, 5 checker and 5 cube, and he beat the other 5 Giants at the front of the room with a score of 38.
The top score from a player in the audience tied Victor with 38 points, Chicago's David Presser--once again proving that he is a major new force in backgammon.
Karen Davis was very close with a score of 37.
The lecture/quiz was video-taped and will be posted on YouTube at soon so that anyone interested can take the quiz themselves and see how they can do against the Giants.
The other participants at the Giant Table, all did very well as the lead zig-zagged throughout the competition. At times Mary Hickey, Petko, and Ben Friesen (a giant person) had the lead, and Bob Koca and Alfred Mamlet were very close behind.
A very large audience was treated with explanations of the positions by the Giants, myself, and some excellent help from the audience.
Victor had a choice of prizes and chose one of my new, smaller, streamlined, fantastic, beautiful baffle boxes.
David Presser won a $40 gift Certificate from the USBGF, co-sponsor (along with Jeb) of the lecture. And I awarded Karen Davis a $100 gift certificate from the USBGF!
