We need more exciting side events like this

Do you know what brought the biggest crowd and excitement at th tournament in Charlotte last weekend?

Th Skunk Gammon playoff!

Not the finals of the open or masters.

And skunk wasn't even backgammon! It was just fast and interesting and different and fun.

It's these kind of things that make tournaments more fun and interesting for the players and spectators alike.

Let's be more creative, tournament directors! Hyper gammon and backgammon to lose are great fun to watch and play and they are also great tests if skill.

When possible a poker, gin, hearts, scrabble and even ping pong would be fun see events--maybe the day before or after.

We used to have some golf and tennis with our tournaments.

And what about including stuff for anyone who is traveling with or a family member?

Let's have some great backgammon with some extra fun on the side!
