8 core i7 HT desktop chips...finally !!

with the proper cooling system it should be great, probably over 10M positions/sec. might hit 12M, that will be great.

I was looking on Crays site(the company that build the super computers for the Govt in the 80's) they have a new platform of computers that are able to share the same work, so the more you add the faster it gets. I'm sure it costs as much as a few houses to set up, I cant imagine what its capable of. I was going to post a link here-for fun. I lost the page and have not been able to find it. I'll dig around and see if I can find it. I thought they were long out of biz, but they are still building super computers. It would be great if they took on XG as a project like IBM did Deep Blue.
