7/2 8/6? Looks ugly. 6/1 7/5? Looks much better. I don't want to bury a checker on the ace, but stacking on the deuce looks worse.

Maybe slotting the four is the right idea, but I'm hesitant to give them a chance to hit and escape with 51 or 61.
