If we're given that we're shifting anchors from the 20pt to the 18pt, then I'm not convinced that TMP (i.e., flexibility) is what puts 24/20 ahead of 24/22(2), as opposed to the virtues of keeping a guard on the 24pt for more contact.

I'm not sure off the top of my head how to figure out which of these theories is the right one, though.
