After one of the longest days in my travelling experience I'm finally home.

But I still want to take the time to thank Barry Silliman and Ed O'Laughlin and their staff for a most enjoyable and well run tournament in Washington DC.

As a fellow director, I recognize and appreciate the hard work all directors put into their tournaments. No one is more conscientious and attentive to detail than Barry.

Congratulations to all the winners and others that placed. Great performance by Ray Fogerlund in almost winning the double. Nice to see some guys/gals that don't play in nearly enough tournaments show up and do well -- congrats to Neil Deutsch, Brandon Macklin, and others. And always love to visit with my backgammon friends -- and there were many in DC.
