No - what I mean is a sequence like this:
We play either 10/8 10/5 or 10/3 - Dillies roll a number that does not run, say 51; pipcount is now even - we 21, pointing on the ace, up 4.
Now if our earlier move was 10/8 10/5, Dillies can roll 44 as a winning number, and 45 and 46, which put them slightly up in the pipcount, If our earlier roll move was 10/3, 46 hits as a winning number, and 44 puts them up in the race by a lot. On 45 we gain a shot, but I don't think that is enough to compensate.
