Thinking aloud the first thing I notice is 8/2 6/2 the knee-jerk play. No no no I can't do that, two guys out of play at this early stage, what about the old rule of thumb keep your boys in front of the enemy. The next thing I notice is blues runners are not motivated yet, rule of thumb get them moving early. Oh dear look at White's potential for priming up 18 roles take the 20 point or the 18 point that's a 50% chance, what to do? How about 13/ 7 13/ 9. So now whites runners have a free run at the blot or prime up . How about 13 /7 8/4. Mmmm 2 blots for White to play with and maybe get his runners going . Without a doubt blues problem is his runners the jailed door is going to slam shut. Proactive time, I have nothing to lose by playing 24 to 18 and what about the four it's got to be 24 to 20 I have already discounted 8/4 8/2. Without a doubt one of them may be pointed on, the minimum punishment is a hit. But I may get to make an advanced anchor or even a good run with one of them. Blue is losing the battle big time at the moment. The silver lining is I am keeping the battle that side of the board. White has a very strong board its time to find a flaw in it despite the dangers. Deep thought may produce more but i have to make a chicken curry.
