Thanks - increasing the plys did make a difference. (There are a lot of knobs and whistles in GNU settings that I am mostly ignorant of. If, in taking a look at the parameters at the bottom, anyone notices another improvement to make, please advise.)

Although 6/3 2/1 is best, it is not by much. (Ah, if I only had to worry about these kinds of mistakes.)

Full cubeful rollout with var.redn.

1296 games, Mersenne Twister dice gen. with seed 756565990 and quasi-random dice

Play: grandmaster 3-ply cubeful prune [grandmaster]

keep the first 0 0-ply moves and up to 16 more moves within equity 0.32

Skip pruning for 1-ply moves.

keep the first 0 2-ply moves and up to 4 more moves within equity 0.08

Cube: 3-ply cubeful prune [grandmaster]
