The gold standard is a bracket where there is NEVER a pairing where one player has 2 more wins than the other.

Keene, I'll be happy to send you what I have. I don't have all the numbers and formats you've mentioned, but I have a good start towards that. I also believe that my brackets never results in the 2+ win situation, and they do a good job of avoiding repeat pairing -- though I put less emphasis on that than the like records criteria.
