Let's see...

  • We are trailing in the race.
  • We have the better board.
  • We can hit on the front edge of our prime.
  • Magriel's bold vs. safe criteria point towards bold.
  • Playing a 6 on the far side of the board would mean volunteering a triple shot.
  • The tempo gained by hitting takes away a significant number of rolls that the Dillies could use to make a strong blocking point on their side of the board.
