It's hard not to grab both 5-points when they are offered to you. But let's look at this before jumping. Blue is 44 behind and won't be ready to hit for a roll or two and by that time the chance may have gone. Also the two anchors are not working well together. So what if we hit? Bar/20 8/7* has all your best points slotted while whites home board is relatively weak. Bar/24* 20/15 closes the gap to 14, sorts out the double anchor and if you're not hit gives you a chance of turning the game around or at least getting a better backgame if hit. I think on reflection I will hit with Bar/24* 20/15 and see what happens.

Hitting adds volatility when way behind in the race giving more chance then safety. Of course, I could be completely wrong.
