Quantifying Recube Vig in Two Roll Bearoffs

I'm re-reading Trice's Bootcamp and am picking up a few things that must have gone over my head during the first pass. One example is the 2 roll bear off article which gives a shortcut for how to quantify recube vig.

The sample position is Green with checkers on 5 and 1 and White with checkers on 4 and 2, for money, Green holding the cube. Walter shows how to scale up White's wins to account for the recube vig...that way we can just compare this effective win amount to the dead cube take point to get the answer.

Without recube vig, White wins 13*23=299 times out of 1296, which is under 25%. With recube vig, White's effective wins increase from 23 to (23-18)*2+18=28, which makes 13*28=364 times out of 1296, which is >25%, demonstrating the take. A very nice trick indeed.

Now my questions is: Can we use a similar trick for 2-roll bearoffs at match scores? I've tried for a good while with no luck so far.
