Well said Scotty. I was thinking about another story in the region, Vietnam, where I was perplexed the first time around (20 years back) because street vendors, kids of maybe 8-9 years old may lack change in coins or notes, but did not accept 'keep the change' and will make change in packages of chewing gum. And a smile. They would not accept a handout or a tip.
