GNU Backgammon v 1.04.000 released for OS/X Yosemite and MS Windows

You can just go to the download page and click the Download setup program link to get a newer version. You can install on top of your old version. The installer will tell you if you are installing on top of a previous install and ask you to uninstall the old one. Just say yes. When it asks you if you are sure you want to remove the components say yes. When it asks if you want to delete your preferences and player database say no. And then continue on with the install as you normally would. At the end of the install a terminal window with text scrolling in it will stay up for a few seconds as it works on some of the files (this is normal).

There are a number of crash fixes that have been fixed since last year, I think in 1.01.003 the stop button may not work. I believe the stop button works better in this release. There are a number of match import bugs that were fixed. There have been a number of speed improvements added, but they are generally minor speedups.
