Blots, anchor and behind argue for bold, only the board argues for safe.

Making the anchor gives white good 4's and 6'es.

Hitting with 8x5 gives him good 4's and 5's.

After anchoring i am quite sure white has a money double,

after 8x5 i am not so sure, we would at least have the initiative.
