With two on the bar, there are no immediate return shots as long as blue doesn't expose a direct shot. The choice seem to be whether to leave the blot on the seven or eight point, but there's also the option of clearing the five point now. Clearing the five now means one less point to clear, and makes it easier for white to enter which means she will be out of our hair earlier. OTOH, once she enters one checker there's the danger of being hit.

I'm not going to clear the five here. I'll play 11/3 8/4(2) and take my lumps. A stack on the four should be more efficient than a stack on the three.
