AtS your side at 8a6a has more recube vig than for money.

Assume that you've turned the game around and are recubing to 4. If we take and lose a G we lose the match exactly and with no overage. You don't need to get into math to realize that you'd recube quicker than normal with some G threats and that we need to pass a gammonish 4 cube sooner than for money.

When we take that recube at 4, we must be very careful about returning it to 8 since if you pass you trail 8a2a you have only 12.5% MWC and therefore can take much easier than for money.

So since, we like nothing about holding a 4 cube AtS, your side will be quicker to return it than for money, so we need to adjust and double a bit later than for money.

There, once I determine that I think this is a borderline decision to cube or not for money, I simply roll the dice AtS since we need a somewhat better position to cube AtS.

Had you side rolled a worse number that had left a fly shot in your outfield rather than making a useful point, I think I'd have doubled.
