If White passes AtS he trails 7a5a and has about 37% ME. If White takes he can always recube for match any time he wants to. Therefore, if White takes and then does the silly thing of recubing no matter what and he can win 37% single games from here his ME will be the same as passing.

Can White 37% at DMP from here? I don't know, but we need to see that White is allowed to roll a 5 and that Blue's large numbers don't work so well for him. Blue can't win this game no matter how badly he beats on White unless he can spring both rear checkers.

Note that if White can win 37% cubeless he has a clear take since he can decide when to recube for match. Therefore White's cubeless TP is somewhat less than 37% due to recube vig, I suspect that he has at worst a borderline decision here as to whether to take or pass.

Based on that I feel strongly that this is a good and proper recube.

Most will pass it, I'd pass it vs a weaker player and take vs a bot.
