I considered giving up the anchor until I noticed the pipcount.

13/3, 8/3 are three of them. Now it's 6/1 or 13/8. We do have two midpoints (sort of) and do we really want to blot (and be forced to then make) our acepoint here? I'll settle for a blot on the midpoint (plus valuable spare on the 8-point) over a blot on the acepoint. (Probably only Barclay Cooke and I will vote for this, though.)
