The idea is to make sure that the checkers keep working together, and that we make it as difficult as possible for the dillies to run the last back checker home. 21/16(2) is great for covering the outfield through which the checker on the 21 needs to travel, and also attacks the blot on the 11. So the dillies plans to escape are delayed. Then 13/3 keeps the checkers iin reasonable positions so that we can attack or prime in the future.
