How finals should be on GriddGammon

I've said this before, but folks don't seem to agree. I think the model used for tournament bridge would work well for backgammon. Some changes to the GridGammon software and a transcriber could enter the match as it's being played. People could the watch on GG.
The American Contract Bridge League gets 10,000+ kibitzers for major events on Bridge Base Online, the bridge equivalent to GG. Expert commentary is provided. No hotel bandwidth required. No struggling with video streams (score? players? what was that dice roll?) Matches automatically saved. Chatting without disturbing the players.
Couldn't the USBGF pay for Gabriella to have the changes made? I don't think we'd have a problem finding volunteers to transcribe matches in real time.
