Two New Side Events in L.A.

With Patrick's permission, and provided these events take place when most people are not playing or out of the tournament:

BAFFLE BOX CHALLENGE:

The player puts up $30 and plays me a 1 point match. If he wins, he gets a $45 baffle box. If he loses, he can put up $20 and try again. If he loses he can pay $10 and the box is his.

Backgammon Board Challenge:

The player puts up $350.00 and plays me a 1 point or 3 point match (his/her choice). If he wins, he gets a new Erhan 869 Board, value $500.00. If he loses he can play again for $200.00. If he loses the second time he can buy the board for $100.00. (If the player is a non-open player, the first entry will be $325.00.)

I will be happy to do this even outside the tournament room before the tournament starts or during breaks...by the way, I do give Patrick an agreed-upon cut.

Re the boards I will have a supply that can be taken immediately or, for an extra $50 and a 45-60 day delay the player can design the board of his dreams.
