Streaming via mobile -- feasible?

If there really is an interest in things like this here is what I think is the best solution.
The USBGF, or some independent website, can be set up. Very simply, it is a backgammon board that someone at the tournament can transcribe the game and it is updated live on the website. This is how chessgames.com and many other sites do it. You won't be able to see anybody, but you will be able to see all of the moves as they happen.
Again, people log on to usbgf.org/livetourny and on the site is a backgammon board. Someone at the tournament with internet access logs into that board and on his screen as he transcribes it live the usbgf.org/livetourny site updates with it.
Requires almost no bandwidth, XG file available immediately.
For me, there is nothing as good as live video feed but I would still watch this if there was no other option available.
