Interesting, I'd double-hit this despite the awkward stripping of the 6 and the match score.

Twelve checkers in the zone is a lot and you have the stronger board. If the attack fails, you still have a prime, better board, and race lead. A drawback of hitting loose is the loss of a builder for better points, so the game may play less fluidly.
