European Backgammon Federation EUROPEAN TEAM BACKGAMMON CHAMPIONSHIP 2015 Bidding

European Backgammon Federation has pleasure to announce 5 candidates for hosting the 2nd European Team Backgammon Championship in 2015:

1. BUDAPEST, Hungary (Budapest Open) Organizer: Hungarian Backgammon Association Tournament Director: TBA Date: TBA (August-November; by choice)

2. CANNES, France (Cannes Summer Cup) Organizer: Franck Stepler and Scarlett Serrero Tournament Director: Franck Stepler and Scarlett Serrero Date: 27 July- 29 July (team), 30 July - 1 August (individual)

3. KYRENIA, Cyprus (4th North Cyprus Open) Organizer: Avraham Eytan Tournament Director: Avraham Eytan Date: 28 February- 2 March (team), 3 March - 8 March (individual)

4. KYRENIA, Cyprus (3rd Merit Open) Organizer: Elite Backgammon Sports Club Association, WBF, Merit Tournament Director: Arda Fındıkoğlu Date: 18 October-20 October (team), 21 October - 25 October (individual)

5. SOCHI, Russia (Russia Open) Organizer: Federation of Sports Backgammon Russia Tournament Director: Eldar Gyul Date: 5 May - 8 May (individual), 8 May - 10 May (team)

All candidates will do their presentation in front of the EUBGF Executive Board on Friday 5th, and finally the Executive Board will decide about the European Championship venue on Monday 8th December.
