I Screwed Up My BackGame Defense Checker Play

Ok, I'll bite.
1) Hitting is forced. Better to hit on the 20 than to recirculate her poorly placed blot on the 23. Then 22/20 for the deuce. Either five point is usually better than either four or six point. I'm not worried about being hit.
bar/20* 22/20
2)Seems to me that if I'm patient those five checkers in her homeboard will be forced to crunch in a few rolls. Hitting loose on the deuce or ace to forestall a third anchor is worth considering but I'll keep the prime. Hard play.
24/18 16/14
3)Well, it looks like we chose the same play for 62. I guess that means my choice is incorrect. QF now implies 10/1* must be the bot play, but I'll keep the prime. Not sure that it matters much which way I shuffle the runners, so I'll just play 21/12.
4)Great minds think alike! It would be cheating for me to look ahead, so i won't. But I can't help but conclude that checker shuffling is the wrong approach. So what about the trap play 8/1*? white has no board and forcing a hit reduces her timing. But it doesn't force an anchor to break, and it doesn't reduce her timing enough for my tastes. I'll keep the prime.
18/11 seems no better or worse than the other checker shuffling plays.
5)Keep the prime. Fours force a burial. A stack on the 10 looks as good as any play that preserves the prime.
12/10 11/10
6) 12/7 14/10. Still not ready to give up the prime even though QF is screaming at me to hit loose on the ace.
7) Now, I don't see a lot of mileage in keeping the prime. Clear the ten point? trap play? If so, which one? 6/1* looks wrongheaded since it gives white a chance to make the six point. I'll go for 9/1*, not entirely sure.
9/1*
8) I'll clear the nine point. The distribution looks pretty and I'm not afraid of being hit on the ten.
9) Clear the nine and eight points. We're not blocking much of anything anyway and while the stacks may look ugly they should prevent us from having to leave a shot for a while.
