Does the score have any effect on any of the correct plays? I don't know...

As a student of this game I appreciate this candid comment. At 6a6a the take points and give points are notably different to money in most positions. Assuming money play (no Jacoby), these positions are already a very tough call in my book.

Another consideration is how much trust we place in the 'answer' (the bot evaluation/rollout). A few years ago I would have been reasonably confident in saying that top players thought that bot backgame plays were sometimes(mostly?) 'ignorable'. Now, I suspect, an XG rollout of a backgame is right until it's proven wrong.

I haven't even looked at the positions yet (or Stick's responses). I'm looking forward to that this weekend to test myself. Hopefully there are some money evaluations/rollouts to consider of the same 'at score' positions.
