I made the same play.

I would have slotted the 4pt if I could have kept builders on the 6pt and 11pt at the same time. Don't get me wrong. I don't think this is a good time for a double slot. It's just that piling 4 checkers on the 8pt, all of which should probably be viewed as spares, leaves an unbalanced distribution of builders (1-4-1).
