3 persone backgammon opening roll ?

After playing alot on my 3 persone bg board i was wondering what would be the best opening roll is it still 31 after all the doubles ? (because you reroll after you win the first toss)

The board play different in the way that you all walk the same way so no walking counter clockwise against eachother. I gave a link to a picture of the board you can see that every player skippes two fields so you have a "normal backgammon" board.
