I considered 8/2 otb, however seeing 6 and 4 to cover while 6 and 4 are needed to leap dissuaded me. I think that in most variations Blue is on the bar next roll, so the duplication of 4's and 6's is a spurious argument. Slotting the 2pt while leaving the rest of the position structurally sound is the key.
